Request for an Appeal of an Aetna Medicare Advantage (Part C) Plan Claim Denial

Because Aetna Medicare (or one of our delegates) denied your request for payment of medical benefits, you have the right to ask us for an appeal of our decision.  You have 60 days from the date of our written denial notice to ask us for an appeal.

Medicare Appeals Post Part C
Representation documentation for appeal requests made by someone other than enrollee. If you want another individual (such as a family member, your doctor or friend) to request an appeal for you, that individual must be your representative. That person may already be your representative if you've filed paperwork with your state, such as Power of Attorney papers.
